Garden Plants By Post, Is a small home based plant nursery, We mainly grow plants from seed for stocking our own grounds and vegetable garden, we also we sell seeds, plants at discounted prices compared to garden centres, we maybe small but we have over 25 years experience in the horticultural business, be it plant production, retail, landscaping, domestic commercial or amenity, We maybe a small nursery but we still offer 100% customer satisfaction and we are  only a phone call away.

We offer

Bare Root Plants, Bare root plants are not always pretty on arrival but they are at least one year old and have been harvested from the field whilst dormant during the winter. We dig them up from the field on order. In autumn to early June, we offer for sale certain varieties of ornamental grasses; in bare-root form from our own plant nursery. Not only does purchasing bare-root plants save you money, but you will find that bare-root plants actually establish themselves more quickly in your garden. Plant out on arrival and once the sunshine warms them they will continue to grow and bloom as if they have never been disturbed.

Plug Plants, in vegetables, ornamental grasses, perennials, Plug plants are plants grown from seed in cells that we grow for ourselves and sell any surplus,

Seeds, of vegetables, ornamental grasses, perennials, we purchase all seeds in bulk from a reputable seed supplier and repackage in affordable quantities, we repackage in simple packaging with the sowing instructions on, when you buy a packet of seeds from a shop you are also paying for the fancy packaging we have taken that expense away, in the case of ornamental grasses we also email you a cultural/care guide.

All other products that we sell, we use ourselves for example polythene tunnels, so we can be sure that the product is of excellent quality.

We try to send all orders as quickly as possible but delays may occur if weather conditions prove unsuitable for lifting or we are waiting for a particular plant to complete your order. Our bare root plants are grown & held in stock all year round.

All plants are grown from seed by ourselves and are free from chemicals and pesticides.

We only post plants out on Mondays/Tuesdays and Wednesdays we hope that this ensures that your plants are not sitting in a sorting office somewhere over the weekend.
