The plastic covering is not your normal clear plastic, it is specially manufactured woven mesh polythene for extra strength with UV protection, 2 layers of plastic with green mesh inbetween, the ends of the tunnel plastic are stitched and specially joined together which means that you do not have the problem of getting the plastic round the ends as you would on a normal poly tunnel as the special covering is made to fit over the frame ends, there are also special velcro straps on the inside of the plastic which go around the frame

There are side ventilation windows which have a plastic mesh for the windows and when you need too you can simply roll the special covering down and velcro close the windows, the 2 door flaps have zips on to close the doors and to keep the doors open you simply roll up the flap and using the clips at the top you clip the door up out of the way

25mm steel tubular poles which are powder coated for extra protection. All parts are numbered for easy installation, Our frame and plastic was all up in about 1 hour

We use the 6m x 3m ourselves for growing vegetables and our plug plants in and also for our xmas trees whilst they are still in the plug cells, the special plastic provides shading

Lets sort out truth from fact

The wind will blow them away:
It won't. However the plastic can blow up from the ground if you don't secure it properly which is when the plastic can blow off the frame.

The Frame:
I have seen commercial tunnel frames buckle under the weight of snow, no matter how thick the frame is if it is under a great weight it will buckle.

Siteing the tunnel:
Some advise siteing with the gable end facing the direction of where the worst of the wind comes from, High winds can come from any direction,put the tunnel where you wish.

The Plastic:
Once erected the plastic starts to degrade on commercial tunnels straight away, the plastic on these tunnels is UV Stabilized Reinforced UPVC (PE) & UVI 140g/sm interwoven cover. Rip/Rot proof, which helps to prevent long term breaking down of the cover.
I have seen a bramble plants grow/rip through commercial grade, be carefull of anything with sharp edges

What If it's not put up perfectly;
Bury the plastic, getting it as tight as you can and you won't have any problems. Or you can use a wooden frame as i have and attach the plastic to that.
